On June 3, FFRC, together with Wuxi Municipal Bureau of Agriculture and Rural Affairs, Yangshan Town Government of Huishan Distinct, and Zhuji Village of Yangshan Town, held the project construction promotion meeting of “Wuxi Yangshan National Demonstration Park for the Integration of Modern Fishery, Agriculture and Tourism”. Xu Pao, Director of FFRC, Xu Gangchun, Deputy Director, Zhu Jian, Director of the Division of Research, Hui Lian, Deputy Director of Wuxi Municipal Bureau of Agriculture and Rural Affairs, Zhang Xianzhong, Director of Wuxi Aquatic and Animal Husbandry Extension Station, Yang Jiaping, Deputy Director of Epidemic Control Center of Huishan Municipal Bureau of Agriculture and Rural Affairs, Yang Guozhong, Secretary of the Party Committee of Yangshan Town, Huishan District, Lu Xinyu, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of Yangshan Town, Huishan District, Yao Guojin, Deputy Mayor of Yangshan Town, Huishan District, and Bian Zhihui, Secretary of the General Party Branch of Zhuji Village, Yangshan Town, attended the meeting.

Under the coordination and promotion of the special working group, focused on the planning and construction of the scientific experiment base and the demonstration park for the integration of fishery, agriculture and tourism, the participants at the meeting reached consensus on matters of common concern for base construction and project implementation, and drafted specific work arrangements and time schedules for the implementation of various tasks.

Yangshan Scientific Experiment Base of FFRC is located in Zhuji Village, Yangshan Town, Huishan District, Wuxi City. The main constructions include modern aquatic seed industry science and technology park, integrated fishery and agriculture demonstration park, smart aquaculture and high-quality fishery industrial park, and Yangtze River ecological protection and Taihu Lake fishery resources conservation base. Yangshan Scientific Experiment Base of FFRC covers an area of 465 mu, including 25 mu of planned construction land, 260 mu of ponds, and 180 mu of rice fields.
