On September 17, the Key Laboratory of the Freshwater Fisheries and Germplasm Resources Utilization Discipline Group of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs heldamutual evaluation meeting of the construction and operation of the "13th Five-Year Plan". The mutual evaluation work was carried out in the form of video conference, presided over by researcher Xu Pao, director of the Comprehensive Key Laboratory of the discipline group and director of FFRC, CAFS.

At the meeting, director Xu Pao reviewed the important R&D progress made by the discipline group since the 13th Five-Year Plan. He expressed his hope that this assessment would help to consolidate and improve the work of the discipline group; further strengthen the joint collaboration and accelerate team training in order to strive for greater results. Zhu Jian, secretary of the Comprehensive Key Laboratory and director of the Dept. of Scientific Research of FFRC, explained in detail the common problems in the self-assessment of each laboratory and experimental station. Subsequently, the directors of the key laboratories, experimental station and team members exchanged views on the work and evaluation of each unit. Directors of the key laboratories and experimental stations carried out on-site mutual evaluation, which were compiled by the secretariat of the discipline group and reported to the Department of Science, Technology and Education of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs.

The key lab directors, station leaders and team members of 1 comprehensive key laboratory, 8 professional key laboratories and 9 scientific observation and experiment stations of the discipline group, a total of more than 30 people participated in the mutual evaluation meeting.
