On the morning of September 6, Tang Xiangbei, deputy chief of theFisheries and Fisheries Administration Division, Hunan Provincial Department of Agriculture and Rural Affairs, Director XieZhonggui and Chief Engineer Liao Fuchu of Hunan Fisheries Science Institute, visited FFRC for inspection and exchange. Entrusted by the leadership of the center, Hu Haiyan, chief of the Dept. of General Office, warmly welcomed Tang Xiangbei and XieZhonggui. The responsible persons of the relevant departments of the center participated in the discussion and exchange. 

During the meeting, Hu Haiyan extended a warm welcome to Tang Xiangbei and XieZhonggui's visit to the center, and introduced the development of the center, especially the important achievements in scientific and technological innovation, industrial support, higher education, and international cooperation in recent years, and expressed the hope to deepen cooperation with the Hunan Fisheries Science Institute and other units, and jointly providestrong supportto the fishery industry development of Hunan Provide. XieZhonggui briefly introduced the basic situation of the Hunan Fisheries Science Institute, and expressed the hope to deepen exchanges and cooperation with FFRC, so that the two institutes could jointly enhance technological innovation and industrial support capabilities. Tang Xiangbei introduced the current situation of fishery development in Hunan Province, hoping to further strengthen scientific and technological cooperation with FFRC, make up for the shortcomings of insufficient and unbalanced fishery development, promote the protection of fishery resources and the restoration of the ecological environmentand add stronger scientific and technological impetus for the development of Hunan's fishery.

Tang Xiangbei and XieZhonggui also visited the Dept. of FisheryGenetics & Breeding and the Laboratory ofAquatic Product Quality, Safety and Environmental FactorsRisk Assessment (Wuxi) of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs, and communicated with relevant scientific and technical personnel.
