On the afternoon of December 29, 2023, all the staff of FFRC gathered at the center to carry out walking activities to celebrate the 45th anniversary of the establishment of the Freshwater Fisheries Research Center and the 30th anniversary of the establishment of Wuxi Fishery College. Members of the Party Committee, members of the leadership team and more than 220 employees of FFRC participated in the event.

In his speech at the event, Director General Xu Pao said that over the past 45 years, in the continuous struggle of the older generation of aquatic people, all leaders and staff, FFRC climbed the slope and waded through the water, and made one breakthrough after another. He hoped that FFRC staff could maintain the original intention of serving the “agriculture, farmer and rural area”, continue the tradition of “diligence, hard work and thriftiness”, and create new glories on the road of high-quality development of China’s fishery.

Subsequently, all the staff carried out wetland walking activity, and the staff took photos at the certain points of “Scientific Research Achievements, Happy Center, and Beautiful Fishery College” set up along the way.
