In recent days，2023 Agricultural Foreign Training Wrap-up Meeting was held Wuxi, Jiangsu. The meeting was hosted by the Department of International Cooperation of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs and the Center of International Cooperation Service, MARA, and co-organized by the Freshwater Fisheries Research Center. Liu Jiang, Chief of the Asian and African Division of the Department of International Cooperation, Xu Ming, Deputy Director of the Center of International Cooperation Service, Zhu Pinjun, Deputy Chief of the Foreign Exchange and Cooperation Division of Jiangsu Provincial Department of Agriculture and Rural Affairs, and Bing Xuwen, Deputy Director of FFRC, attended the meeting and delivered speeches.

Chief Liu Jiang said that agricultural foreign training should be based on the advantages of agricultural resources, establish a characteristic training brand, attach importance to the effectiveness of training, effectively help participating countries improve the level of food security, promote sustainable agricultural development, promote cooperation and friendship through training, and continuously expand the circle of friends of agricultural cooperation.

Deputy Director Xu Ming said that the Center of International Cooperation Service will closely focus on agricultural foreign aid work, further strengthen the construction of training teams and the sharing of training resources, actively explore practical and efficient training models, and continuously improve the quality and effect of training.

Deputy Director Bing Xuwen hoped that under the leadership and care of departments at all levels, he would deepen the interdisciplinary integration with relevant units and jointly improve the quality of agricultural foreign exchanges and cooperation. Zhu Jian, member of the Party Committee and Chief of the Department of Science of FFRC, shared the successful experience and good practices accumulated by FFRC in the implementation of foreign training projects in the past year, and put forward new ideas on how to carry out the next step.

A total of 50 representatives from the Department of International Cooperation of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs, the implementation units of agricultural foreign training projects and other related units attended the meeting.
