On November 15, Jia Guangdong, Secretary of the Party Committee of the Graduate School of the Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences went to the Freshwater Fisheries Research Center of the Chinese Academy of Fishery Sciences for investigation. Chen Jinfa, Secretary of the Party Group of the CAFS, and Xu Pao, Director General of FFRC, participated in the investigation and exchanged views on deepening the joint cultivation of postgraduate students between CAAS and CAFS.

At the meeting, Secretary Jia Guangdong expressed his gratitude to the Party Committee of the CAFS and the Party Committee of FFRC for attaching great importance to the joint education of graduate students. He proposed that under the framework of cooperation between academy and institute, the two sides should improve new mechanisms, find new opportunities and incubate new achievements.

Secretary Chen Jinfa said that the Party Committee of the CAFS will continue to support the joint education work, and he hoped that the graduate students will concentrate on their studies, have the courage to overcome difficulties, innovate learning and scientific research methods, broaden scientific research ideas, and enhance scientific research capabilities. Director Xu Pao said that under the leadership of the CAFS, FFRC will have the courage to take responsibility, innovate management, and complete the joint education of graduate students with high quality. At the same time, he hoped that the CAAS and CAFS will continue to supervise and support graduate students education.

After the meeting, Secretary Jia Guangdong visited the exhibition room of FFRC, investigated the teaching of “Modern Aquatic Breeding”, and visited the postgraduate science and education base - Jiangsu Noah’s Ark Agricultural Technology Co., Ltd.
