On February 20, FFRC held the 2022 Annual Commendation Meeting and conveyed the spirit of the 2023 Work Conference of the Chinese Academy of Fishery Sciences.

The meeting firstly commended the collectives and individuals who won scientific and technological achievements, excellent innovation teams, happy teams and innovative talents in 2022.

Director Xu Pao pointed out that in 2023, the center should focus on key core technology research in the industry and cultivate high-level scientific research team; The second is to upgrade the ability of scientific and technological innovation; The third is to strengthen industrial support capabilities; The fourth is to focus on the construction of talent teams; The fifth is to aggregate financial and scientific and technological conditions to guarantee ability; The sixth is to aggregate the leading role of party building and stimulate new momentum for the construction of modern scientific research institutes.

The meeting required that all the staff of FFRC should conscientiously study, understand and implement the spirit of the Work Conference of Chinese Academy of Fishery Sciences, take “accelerating the construction of an agricultural power” proposed in the report of the 20th CPC National Congress as the guide, and strive to complete the scientific research tasks of the center with high quality and high standards before the end of the “14th Five-Year Plan”.
