On February 15, Researcher Xiong Guangquan, Director of the Institute of Agricultural Products Processing and Nuclear Agricultural Technology of Hubei Academy of Agricultural Sciences, Post Scientist for Perservation, Storage and Transportation of the National Characteristic Freshwater Fish System and Deputy Director Wang Lan, went to FFRC to have an exchange with Researcher Yang Hong, Chief Scientist of the system, and Researcher Xu Gangchun, Deputy Director of FFRC and Post Scientist for Engineering Aquaculture of the system.
Deputy Director Xu Gangchun introduced the scientific research achievements of FFRC in the cultivation of characteristic freshwater fish species, the research and development of efficient farming models, and wastewater treatment. Prof. Xiong Guangquan briefly introduced the team structure, research direction and recent research achievements. Researcher Yang Hong, Chief Scientist of the syetem, proposed that the two sides should seize the opportunity of the development of aquatic pre-made dishes, make full use of the advantages of science and technology and resources in the system, promote industrial integration to the development of facilities and intelligence of characteristic freshwater fish processing.
The two sides had in-depth exchanges on the new situation and development of characteristic freshwater fish processing, live fish transportation technology, aquatic product processing equipment research and development, achievement cultivation and talent team construction during the 14th Five-Year Plan period.
