Recently, the Yangtze River Fisheries Administration, MARA gave a commendation to the advanced units and individuals emerging in the implementation of the Yangtze finless porpoise scientific investigation mission in 2022, FFRC was awarded the title of “Advanced Unit in the scientific investigation of the Yangtze finless porpoise in 2022”. Thirteen people, including Liu Kai, executive deputy director of Huaihe River Basin Fishery Ecology Protection Research Center, were awarded the title of “Advanced Individual in the Scientific Investigation of the Yangtze Finless Porpoise in 2022”.

In 2022, under the arrangement of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affaires, FFRC organized a number of teaching, scientific research, management units, social organizations and news media inside and outside Anhui Province to take the lead in carrying out the scientific investigation of the Yangtze finless porpoise in Anhui section of the Yangtze River.
