From January 5 to 6, the National Conventional Freshwater Fish Industry Technology System organized the 2021 Annual Summing-up Online Meeting. Zhang Zhenhua, Deputy Director of the Department of Science, Technology and Education of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs, Li Shumin, a first-level inspector of the Bureau of Fisheries, MARA, and Wang Dan, Chief of the Department of Science and Technology, Liu Yingjie, Deputy Director of the Chinese Academy of Fishery Sciences, Gui Jianfang, Academician of the Institute of Hydrobiology, Chinese Academy of Sciences, Liu Shaojun, Academician of Hunan Normal University, and Researcher Ge Xianping, Chief Scientist of the system, attended the meeting.

At the opening ceremony, Deputy Director Liu Yingjie expressed his heartfelt congratulations to the achievements of the system. Subsequently, Deputy Director Zhang Zhenhua delivered a speech as the liaison officer of the system, hoping that the system would solve the science and technology and economic integration of the whole industry chain through continuous improvement of the operating mechanism and management system, and provide scientific and technological support for the conventional freshwater fish industry.

Subsequently, Chief Wang Dan presided over the 2021 work evaluation of researcher Ge Xianping, the Chief Scientist of the system.

Finally, Chief Scientist Ge Xianping completed the 2021 work summary and evaluation of the directors of functional research laboratories, post scientists and integrated experiment stations.

All the post scientists in the system, directors of the integrated experiment stations, the local innovation team and members of the main production provinces, nearly 200 people participated in the summing-up meeting.
